'TO SINGAPORE WITH LOVE' official photobook launch, 7july,7pm,SAM

went there like an idiot after losing my way searchin for it from cityhall...went one huge round around SMU campus to finally locate the grand old place...if i had know there is no attendance taken,i would have pull all my kakis n jasper along lor..

Anyway,went there on time ALONE in my flowery suit and practically stood out amg the executive-suited ppl..everyone's on their best behaviour while some haf high-pitched accents(not ang mohs though)..felt so small amg the oh-so-grand ppl and got myself drooling at the oh-so-professional cameras some were holdin(no wonder my pics never get selected la!so pathetic)..but then hor, the glass hall so tiny and there were only less than 20 pictures on display..oh-so-disappointing..got tapped on the shoulder by tis organiser to inform the president of singapore is coming,so could i pls stop scrutinising the pics n wlcm his arrival with the oh-so-bloody-posh ppl..

then got myself scrutinising the CNA's camera with its oh-so-karat(rusty)tripod..i tink we media students shouldnt aim to be cameraman or even soundman..the ppl filming n being the soundman were ahem pretty old with eons of experiences on their resumes...the soundman is an apek wif baldin grey hair hee..

fine,the president arrived..and he really looked like my late grandpa,onli super darker skin tone..

the president..hmz,okayla,quite grand to see him but got irritated with the fountain in the SAM courtyard(where the reception is)which gurgled LOUDLY every 5 seconds or so..the president used literature language whoa whoa..so educated of course..like 'transcend races,cultures etc'..and that tis photography project on singaporeans' perspectives by singaporeans/foreigners make us realise the FINER details of singapore which we see everyday,but hardly Appreciate wif our busy lifestyles...

like one angmoh photographer lor..took pictures of dilapidated one-storey buildings wif mosses..like dat also must appreciate..then he put it in black-white summore..n his pics damn alot lorr..took up space for my photos hurr hurr :P

and i gotta bitch abt one main aspect of the event..dunno wat the organisers were tinkin sia..made the Magnum Force-np cheerleaders perform for the President with their oh-so-fake smiles wif BRIGHT BRIGHT eyes n cutesy-ness..and they flashed their black underpants and short skirts like 10cm away from him so many times la..i mean,i respect them for being the champion cheerleadin team for 5 years running..but flashing n screamin so girlishly in front of the president,errr??!?!...seriously,i tink tis part v.distasteful..

and there was tis one NUS photographer student..kaoz,so irritating also..wore the oh-so-proud smile wif his oh-so-grand NUS school jacket with his oh-so-high-end camera..and then because he's short,he cant see the president talking so he anyhow raised his camera n took pictures..but realise he cant focus properly..from far can see lor,his camera point one way,the president is like the other way..dumb dumb..then i tink he wants to stand on the fountain but too self-conscious..besides, the CNA tripod stood at the fountain First ..

other than that ok,i left b4 the president which is quite rude coz i tink shouldnt leave b4 the guest-of-honour make his exit,but wth..sianz liaoz after lookin at the pictures in 3rounds under 40mins..took some fruit punch n blah out of there la...

so posh so posh..so who do you know there who's actually real..interesting,such events..i should've taken some food.last note,the waiters were cute..is it purely coincidental?*shrugs*
