GC,Queensland 2-10 June 2007

i came, i conquered, i froze! Life's at Surfers Paradise is Paradise for the young and the restless..not to mention still living freely by their parents' income...hm hm..if only i had fallen under that category...if only i had come a fwe years ago when i can enjoy the thrill that comes with death-defying rides at the theme parks...where i did not have the mentality that i am afraid of heights, unlike NOW...

now i can only say that i love those days of my trip where my aunt's family and i took a walk at the park and the beach and went on a 'catch a crab' tour.. both the former were the highlights of my trip...both which required not 'if you have health-related problems such as hypertension or pregnancy, please do not go onboard these rides"....like meemum said, i would've been happier going to 'old ppl's place' eg perth..haa..

now i have to pay my aunt back bit by bit for bringing me along on the trip...

and work has started once again..and still, there's no copywriter or new faces to be seen nor any improvements made...urm, unless you count the mgmt hoo-haaing abt replacing the sign at the entrance..and painting the already brown door brown...Yep, life's in singapore goes on as normal...sigh

oh yea, there's drought and floods occuring in aus at the same time in different parts of it...the last few days i was there, i read that an elderly couple and a child gt swept away by the flood..i hope they've been found now...i still rmb the tour bus driver telling us "I know it kind of suck to have rain on your holiday, but we really, really need the rain right now"...hm.

anyway, i havent make up my mind which weather i would rather have...hot and humid or cold and freezing...at least when its cold and freezing, my nose don't run!..N i can think of a new tagline for its tourism campaign; "geography comes alive" ..for "old"ppl like me, its My paradise...
